Casual Fall Style

September 10, 2015

Happy “unofficial” start to Fall! It’s time for the leaves to change, Pumpkin Spice Lattes to be ordered and cozy knits to be worn.

Burgundy Sweater and Jeans

Fall is my favorite season to transition into in regards to clothing because I am forever pining for the perfect casual sweater to pair with jeans and flats. It is a “no-fail” combination that takes little effort and little ironing!

The wine-colored hue of this knit sweater is such a rich, beautiful shade for fall and the curved hem coordinates seamlessly with my new “I’ll be wearing under everything” oxford.

Why will I be wearing this shirt everywhere? Because it is tailored, has french cuffs and is split at the side seam in order to lay flat over slim-fit jeans. Just get one and thank me later.

What are you looking forward to about fall?

Love this look! I really hope to find some leopard print flats before the winter hits. I was just telling my sister that I am craving some new staple pieces like the white Oxford. Do you suggest going down a size in the shirt? Thanks.

Thank you Kati! Yes, I do suggest sizing down. I bought a Petite because I am short and that really helps with the length.
