Luxury Garage Sale

When I started Everyday Cuvée, part of my focus was showing how to mix the best everyday staples with those splurge-worthy items every one craves. That iconic CHANEL bag. Timeless Hermès scarf. Vintage Louis Vuitton luggage.

Finding a trusted source for those hard to find items can be daunting. Enter Chicago’s own Luxury Garage Sale (LGS). LGS specializes in high-end consignment of fashion’s iconic luxury brands, including CHANEL, Hermès, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Céline.

I am thrilled to announce that I have begun working with Luxury Garage Sale (LGS) as part of their Client Relations Team.

As part of my role, I am looking for both individuals and stylists who are looking to consign. Breathe new life into your closet (and your wallet) by parting with those items you no longer wear (see a list of our designers*).

We provide a complete white glove service-we will help you select which items will sell, authenticate and price them for optimal resale value, and handle all the logistics (from pickup to payment). Interested? Email me at to get started!

Looking for a special piece? If you’re in Chicago or Dallas, we welcome you to stop in to our retail locations to browse a curated selection, but our full inventory is also shoppable online here and here.

Lace Dress

Summer usually means wedding season is in full swing! From garden party soireés to downtown ballroom fêtes, it is most important to dress appropriately for the affair.

This can sometimes cause major dressing-room anxiety but don’t fret my dear, I have found THE perfect lace dress that can work for many dress codes.

This sheath dress (which also comes in cobalt blue and navy) can be dressed up with fancy jewels and gold heels or dressed down with wedges and minimal jewelry.

It is super comfortable, figure-flattering and elegant – all important factors to keep you looking sophisticated from start to finish!

Denim Pencil Skirt

What’s old is new again…and denim skirts are baaccckk! 90’s style, button up versions are totally on trend but I am more into sleek sophisticated versions that can easily be worn to work.

From 9-to-5, pair this $60 denim pencil skirt with a gingham button-down shirt tucked in and nude heels. Then after work, untuck your top, tie it up in a knot for a playful, flirty look and add a red lip.

The material of the skirt is super stretchy but does not lose its shape, has a back slit making it possible to actually walk into work and there are pockets to stash your lipstick for reapplying. All in all, a plus for working gals!

Floral Shift Dress

I’ve been on the go the past couple weeks (and Michael was in Nepal) so sadly I haven’t been able to share as much as I wanted to with you! I traveled to St. Louis to visit my family, attend a football game at Mizzou and even go to my high school reunion dressed in this Floral Shift Dress and Booties.

High school in St. Louis is a very BIG thing and when meeting a fellow St. Louisian, the conversation always begins with, “Where did you high school?”

As a proud alumni of St. Joseph’s Academy, I spent four years of my life forming some of the most amazing friendships and ones that I’ll have for life. So at the reunion, we spent the night walking the hallways of our old school, reminiscing over the antics we got ourselves into and just plain catching it — it was perfect.

Pleated Maxi Dress

It may be obvious because of my invitation studio, but I am a sucker for weddings. And, especially, dressing up for weddings. Everyone dusts off their fancy duds and kicks back for a fun-filled night of dinner and dancing.

Because this was the first wedding that I actually attended on the beach it was the perfect scenario for a maxi dress. Easy, breezy and perfect for dancing, this pleated maxi dress was also easy on my wallet at only $79.50!

My husband, Michael, played quite the dapper date in his Ludlow suit, Chambray Tie and Pocket Square from Tie Bar.

Tassel Trim Off the Shoulder Dress

Each night on our vacation, Michael and I tried a new restaurant at the resort. Even though it felt wonderful to wash the suntan lotion and sand off and get a little gussied up, I still wanted to keep my style a bit laid back since we were at the beach.

I fell in love with this coral Tassel Off the Shoulder Dress online and loved it even more when wearing it. It was so comfortable, breezy and could double up as a coverup or shirt which is excellent for traveling. With a $42 price tag, I may just have to buy it in navy too.

Geometric Separates

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July holiday! Michael and I took a road trip up north to Madison, Wisconsin, and had a relaxing weekend stay at The Graduate Madison. It was the perfect getaway from Chicago with a ton of great restaurants and activities.

The city is oriented around the Capitol Building with its stately grounds and stone stairs for days – the perfect backdrop for this geometric shirt and skirt combo that I just had to have. Not only is the duo cute together, but each piece looks great alone.

I have already worn the top with jeans and black pants for two different nights out. The top is so, so flattering – fitted and cut in at the top to accentuate the shoulders and boxy at the bottom with a back pleat to flatter the waistline.

Scalloped Dress

I’m not sure which element of this dress I love best – the scalloped hem, the bright coral hue, or the back detail that shows a hint of skin. Either way, it was the perfect option for Easter Brunch overlooking Lake Michigan with the “Chicago branch” of my family.

Luckily my first Rocksbox arrived just in time for the weekend and the bold statement necklace I received paired perfectly with my spring dress. I’ll be sharing more about Rocksbox on Friday and even have a FREE gift to share with you!

Lilly Pulitzer Blythe Dress and Monogrammed Straw Clutch

What’s more perfect than a Lilly Pulitzer Blythe Dress and Monogrammed Straw Clutch for a bright, colorful look at the beach? Not much in my opinion!

I’ve always been a fan of the bold prints from Lilly, but never owned one of her iconic dresses. So after a rain-soaked afternoon hiding indoors, I purchased my first Lilly dress at Barefoot Princess in WaterColor in a fun, fresh ‘light as a feather’ pattern.

The swing shape of the cotton v-neck dress provides a loose, laid back look perfect for an evening at the WaterColor wine bar with my mom and Michael. And this dress is more affordable than most Lilly dresses – at only $98, you can have the “Lilly look for less”!

Sizing tip: order down a size or two. For reference, I am wearing an XXS and am 5’1″. I normally wear an XS or S in dresses.

Besides my luggage, I only packed two bags with me for vacation – my beach bag and my brand new Monogrammed Straw Clutch from Lindroth Design. To say I am obsessed with this clutch is an understatement.

Painted with bright pink and white stripes and featuring my monogram ‘CCM’, I have carried this bag with me everywhere. It is large enough to hold all of my essentials – my iPhone, small wallet, sunglasses and case, lipstick and lipliner – and looks cute during the day or night.

You can choose from 21 different colors for the stripes and monogram hand-painted on the bag and they only take about 3-5 business days to create. Lindroth Design also offers beach bags and small straw handle bags with the same iconic stripes and monograms. I’ll be adding the Lyford Bag to my wish list!

Make sure to follow me on Instagram to see more of my vacation fun! It’s been raining non-stop but we’re making the most of it!

Floral Dress & Lace-Up Flats

Let me count the ways I love this floral dress: the bold print, bright colors, black peter pan collar and flirty ruffle hem. It makes me feel so chic, and slightly Parisian.

This dress could easily work for so many occasions from a shower to an elegant night on the town all while looking feminine and sophisticated.

And my new black lace-up flats! Aren’t they fun? At under $50, I of course HAD to have them. After stalking them online for awhile I visited the store, but the sales clerk and I were not on the same page. After asking for help, she quickly said she was pretty sure they didn’t have my size and walked away…never to return. Disappointed, I started making my way out and what do I see? An entire rack of the shoes on display in the corner of the store. Size found. Crisis averted.
